As a part of our dynamic team, all of our employees enjoy a FUN work environment where you can collaborate with top notch therapists!Job DescriptionAs a SLP - Clinic Mentor, this employee will directly guide and support team members to become highly knowledgeable, compassionate, and collaborative individuals who believe in the company's mission, vision, and values while being accountable for their production in their positions within the company.Job Responsibilities:Serving as the first line of contact for clinical and documentation questions, providing guidance and mentorship to the team.Assisting in the onboarding process of new employees, providing support and training.Participating in quarterly and annual reviews, reflecting on past performance and setting goals for the future.Managing clinician schedules to ensure efficient and full utilization of resources.Overseeing team members' productivity and providing coaching when necessary.Assisting with chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.Organizing team building events to foster a positive work environment.Having a good understanding of statistics and using that knowledge to set goals for the upcoming year.Showing appreciation and recognition for staff members' hard work and achievements.Scheduling supervision sessions as needed to support professional growth and development.Taking responsibility for hiring and onboarding new SLP team members.Acting as a liaison between SLPs and higher management, facilitating communication and addressing any concerns.Conflict Management- Serving as a resource for problem-solving and answering questions for all SLPs.Assigning speech patients to appropriate SLPs based on their expertise and caseload capacity.Identifying, training, and promoting other team members in the clinical ladder to encourage growth and advancement.Providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations for junior SLPs, SLP assistants, and clinical fellows.Effectively managing clinic resources, including scheduling, equipment, and therapy materials.Ensuring accurate maintenance of client records and meeting reporting requirements for insurance and billing purposes.Maintain expected productivity and the roles of an SLPCovering sessions in case of emergencyQualities that fit this opportunityMaster's degree from a university with a curriculum approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, required.NC licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, requiredMinimum 3 years of experience with the pediatric population, required.Experienced in training, mentoring, and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment preferredSelf motivated, not afraid of hard workTakes initiativeProblem-solverEfficient and dedicated to getting things donePositive perspectiveExcellent time management and organizational skillsCollaborative team playerSetting/Schedule:Monday to FridayDay ShiftNo weekendsBenefits that set us apart- Exceptional earnings potential!
