Job Title: Cardiac Cath / IR Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath / IR Technologist to provide assistance during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients, and assisting the physician during procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology suite.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide necessary support
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Assist in the training of other staff members as needed
- Keep abreast of new technology and advancements in the field of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and computer systems
