Job Description
Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to perform echocardiograms and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as experience working with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms on patients to assess cardiac function
- Assist physicians in interpreting imaging results and recommending treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with industry standards
- Stay current on advancements in cardiac imaging technology and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding imaging results
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
