Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer Echo Technologist to join our team in performing diagnostic echocardiograms on patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as experience using ultrasound equipment to capture images of the heart.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms on patients using ultrasound equipment
- Obtain high-quality images of the heart and surrounding structures
- Analyze images to detect abnormalities or potential cardiac issues
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for optimal image quality
- Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care during procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and image analysis software
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
