Job Title: Cardiology Invasive Specialist Cath Lab Technologist
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Invasive Specialist Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting cardiologists in performing minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat heart conditions in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist cardiologists during catheterization procedures
- Operate and monitor complex imaging equipment
- Administer medication as directed by the cardiologist
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide post-procedure care
- Document procedures and patient information accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cardiac cath lab
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism
