Job Title: Cath Lab Special Procedures Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Special Procedures Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing a variety of specialized procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and imaging devices
- Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the cath lab
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or higher in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac interventional specialization
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
