Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our healthcare team. The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting medical staff during catheterization procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist medical staff during catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide support as needed
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of equipment in the catheterization laboratory
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
- Previous experience working in a catheterization laboratory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
