Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Work closely with radiologists to analyze and interpret imaging results
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate patient records and image files
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards for patient care and confidentiality
- Follow radiation safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- ARRT certification in CT
- Current state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems
