Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
- Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs, bones, and tissues
- Follow proper protocols to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists to analyze and interpret scan results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure functionality and safety
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines
- Stay current on advancements in CT technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate or degree from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
