Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services to patients. The CT Technologist will operate CT scan equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly and operate CT scan equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure that images are clear and accurate
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during imaging procedures
- Assist in the training of new CT Technologists and other staff members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in CT required
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures
