Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients to produce diagnostic images for medical professionals. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
- Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures
- Ensure all images are of high quality and accurately represent the area being scanned
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to analyze and interpret images
- Maintain patient records and ensure all procedures are properly documented
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
- Assist with training and mentoring new CT technologists as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in CT imaging
- State licensure as a CT technologist
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of CT equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care
