Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans on patients in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during the scanning process
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to contrast agents
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a CT Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
