Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety
- Maintain and operate CT equipment
- Ensure images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret imaging results
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
