Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and answering questions.
2. Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
3. Ensure patient safety by following proper radiation safety protocols.
4. Monitor patients during scans and report any adverse reactions.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and update case information as needed.
6. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to provide optimal patient care.
7. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in CT imaging.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
