Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The CT Technologist will play a critical role in providing accurate and high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operating and maintaining CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Positioning patients correctly and communicating instructions to obtain the necessary images
- Monitoring patients during scans and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Analyzing images for quality and accuracy, and forwarding them to radiologists for interpretation
- Maintaining patient records and equipment logs
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Valid ARRT certification and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience with CT equipment and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
