Job Title: CT Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Tech to join our medical imaging team. The CT Tech will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs during scans
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices in CT imaging
- Assist with training and mentoring junior CT Techs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) with CT certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Tech
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Willingness to continue education and training in CT imaging technology
