Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team to operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT technology and excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians.
2. Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
3. Monitor patients during procedures and communicate any concerns to the medical team.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.
5. Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
7. Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT required.
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. Strong understanding of CT technology and imaging protocols.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
