Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist in Waimea, HI
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform various diagnostic imaging procedures on patients to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. This role requires a high level of technical skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure that equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and address concerns
- Monitor patients during the procedure and ensure their safety and comfort
- Record and analyze data from images, and provide accurate reports to physicians
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain an accurate and efficient imaging practice.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT CT certification and current state licensure required
- Previous experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications.
