Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. The CT Technologist will work closely with patients to ensure a high level of care and accuracy in imaging scans, providing crucial information for medical diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
2. Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
3. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results.
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging findings.
6. Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT technology.
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
