Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Tech to join our medical imaging team. The CT Tech will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients, working closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders
- Position patients correctly and safely for imaging
- Maintain and operate CT equipment
- Ensure patient safety during scans
- Monitor patients for any reactions or complications
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Tech
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
