Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Bethel, AK. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort and safety during the scan.
- Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after the procedure.
- Analyze images captured by CT scans and prepare a detailed report of the findings for the physician’s review.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience in diagnostic imaging and CT scanning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to patient safety and quality care.
