Job Title: Diagnostic/Radiology Imaging Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic/Radiology Imaging Director to oversee and manage all aspects of the diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department, as well as maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the diagnostic imaging department
• Manage and supervise staff, including radiology technologists, radiologists, and other imaging professionals
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of imaging equipment
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services
• Evaluate and implement new imaging technologies and techniques
• Monitor departmental budget and financial performance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and programs

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Current certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of imaging equipment and technology
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in diagnostic imaging
