Job Title: Echo Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The Echo Technologist will be responsible for conducting echocardiograms on patients to evaluate heart function and diagnose cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct echocardiograms on patients using ultrasound equipment.

2. Capture high-quality images of the heart and surrounding structures for analysis by physicians.

3. Assist with other imaging procedures as needed, such as stress tests and transesophageal echocardiograms.

4. Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in working order and properly calibrated.

5. Record and maintain accurate patient records and exam results.

6. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.

7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate diagnoses.

8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred.
• 2 years of experience in performing echocardiograms.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
