Job Title: Echo Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart conditions. The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, ultrasound imaging, and interpreting results to provide accurate reports to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Perform echocardiograms on patients using ultrasound equipment.

2. Obtain and review patient medical history to accurately assess their condition.

3. Assist physicians in interpreting test results and making treatment recommendations.

4. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate imaging.

5. Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

6. Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures during procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field.

2. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing echocardiograms.

4. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information.

8. Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and analyzing imaging results.
