Job Title: Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality images of the heart and surrounding structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms as ordered by physicians
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in Echocardiography
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
