Job Title: Mammographer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammographer to join our team. The Mammographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to help in the detection of breast cancer and other breast-related issues. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform mammograms and other imaging procedures according to established protocols
- Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Review images for quality and accuracy
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret and communicate results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety and radiation protection guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography
- State licensure as a Mammographer
- Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
- Experience with digital imaging equipment
