Job Title: Mammographer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mammographer to join our team. The Mammographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests to identify breast cancer and other breast-related diseases in patients. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform mammograms on patients using specialized imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety
- Stay current on advancements in mammography technology and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certification in Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography
- Valid state license to practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammographer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards patients
