Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and structures. The MRI Technologist must possess a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiology procedures to ensure the accurate interpretation of images by radiologists.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure optimal imaging results
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and update imaging studies in the hospital's database
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during imaging procedures
- Provide care and support to patients before, during, and after MRI scans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in MRI Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI Technology
- State licensure or certification to practice as an MRI Technologist
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
