Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI technology and techniques, as well as excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
- Monitor and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses
- Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
