Job Title: MRI Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Tech to operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to create diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques, as well as excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients following established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to the procedure
- Maintain accurate patient records and image files
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and analyze images
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in MRI technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in MRI technology
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an MRI Tech
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and a focus on patient care
