Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and provide clear instructions throughout the process
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (R.T.(MR)) or equivalent
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
