Job Title: MRI Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Tech to operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The MRI Tech will be responsible for preparing patients for MRI scans, operating the MRI machine, and ensuring the quality of images produced.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Monitor patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to interpret MRI images
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Tech
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
