Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, patient care, and safety procedures in a medical imaging setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Operate MRI machines to obtain high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
2. Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
3. Monitor patients' conditions during scans and ensure their safety and comfort.
4. Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret images for diagnostic purposes.
5. Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment to ensure accuracy and quality of images.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff.
7. Keep accurate records of patients' medical histories and imaging procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. Certification in MRI Technology from an accredited program.
3. Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation and safety protocols.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in producing diagnostic images.
