Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust parameters to obtain optimal images
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with healthcare providers
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow established procedures for MRI scans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
