Job Title: Rad Tech - X-Ray
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rad Tech - X-Ray to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and producing high-quality x-rays for medical interpretation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for x-ray procedures
2. Position patients appropriately for accurate imaging
3. Operate x-ray equipment in a safe and efficient manner
4. Develop x-ray films and ensure images are of high quality
5. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis
6. Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
8. Assist in ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
2. ARRT certification in Radiography
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols
8. Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping
