Job Title: Rad Tech - Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rad Tech - Radiologic Technologist to join our team and provide compassionate and high-quality imaging services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, working closely with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely results, and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols
- Ensure the proper positioning of patients for accurate image acquisition
- Process and analyze imaging results to assist in patient diagnosis
- Maintain radiologic equipment and ensure its proper function
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide quality patient care
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- State licensure or certification as required by law
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of radiologic principles and techniques
