Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist will perform imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients under the direction of a radiologist. This role requires operation of radiographic equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Position patients for imaging procedures.
2. Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
3. Follow protocols to ensure patient safety during procedures.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and images.
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
6. Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures.
7. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in radiologic technology.
2. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
