Job title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The Radiologic Technologist will operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical purposes. The successful candidate will ensure accurate patient positioning and appropriate imaging technique selection to achieve the best possible outcome for patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging technique selection for the best possible outcome
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and diagnose images
• Prepare patients for procedures, including taking medical histories and explaining the imaging process
• Ensure safety by following radiation safety procedures and monitoring radiation exposure
• Maintain patient records and logs of radiologic procedures
• Perform quality control tests on equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
• Valid ARRT certification and state licensure
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and radiologic technology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality patient care
