Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate x-ray and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and communicate results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Keep imaging equipment clean and in proper working order
- Stay current on industry trends and technology advancements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
