We are seeking a skilled Radiology : Nuc Med Tech to join our team in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and operating imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients for imaging purposes
- Operate imaging equipment to capture images of organs and tissues
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols at all times
- Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in the field of nuclear medicine
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety protocols
