Job Summary:
We are seeking a Radiology X-Ray Tech to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing X-Ray examinations on patients, producing high-quality images for diagnosis, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for X-Ray procedures and explain the process.
2. Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images.
3. Operate X-Ray equipment and process images for interpretation.
4. Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
5. Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning.
6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.
7. Document procedures in patient records and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
2. Certification in X-Ray technology.
3. Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
