Job Title: Sonographer - Vascular Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer - Vascular Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work closely with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform ultrasound imaging exams of the vascular system, including arteries and veins.
2. Obtain and record patient history, including symptoms and previous medical conditions.
3. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce images of blood flow and detect abnormalities.
4. Analyze imaging results and provide accurate interpretations to healthcare providers.
5. Assist physicians during procedures and help guide treatment decisions.
6. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of exam documentation.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduation from an accredited sonography program.
2. ARDMS certification in vascular technology.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
4. Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and physiology.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and imaging software.
