Job Title: Sonographer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients in a variety of clinical settings. The successful candidate will operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images, interpret results, and collaborate with healthcare providers to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to provide diagnostic information to healthcare providers
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver accurate and timely results
- Document findings and communicate results to healthcare providers and patients as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
