Job Title: Sonography : Echo Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonography : Echo Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images of the heart, evaluating the images for quality and accuracy, and providing timely reports to healthcare providers. The Sonography : Echo Tech will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures on patients
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Prepare and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate courses of treatment
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
- 2 years of experience as a Sonography : Echo Tech
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
