Job Title: Sonography : Echo Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonography : Echo Tech to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing accurate and detailed images for diagnostic purposes. This individual will work closely with medical staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment
- Obtain and record patient medical history
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Analyze and interpret images to assist in diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist medical staff during procedures as needed
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in sonography or related field
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing echocardiograms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
