We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonography: Ultrasound Tech to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and providing accurate imaging results to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to capture images of internal organs and anatomical structures
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety during examinations
- Analyze imaging results and collaborate with healthcare providers to determine accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met
- Keep detailed records of patient information, exam results, and diagnostic impressions
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification or eligibility for certification
- Previous experience working as a Sonography: Ultrasound Tech in a healthcare setting
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
