Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging procedures for patients in a medical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiology equipment and techniques, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures on patients as requested by physicians
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and image files
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret imaging results
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent exposure to radiation
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure
- Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as needed
