Job title: Tech - Computed Tomography (CT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Tech with expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans as requested by physicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Prepare and administer contrast media when necessary
- Follow established protocols and procedures for image acquisition
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
- State licensure or certification as required
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
