Job Description
Job Title: Transitioned Tech - Cath Lab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transitioned Tech to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions, preparing and operating complex cath lab equipment, and providing quality patient care throughout procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist cardiologists and other medical professionals in performing catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient EKG and vital signs during procedures
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow strict safety protocols and infection control measures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cath lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
