Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the internal organs and tissues
- Analyze and interpret imaging results for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions and developing treatment plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in Sonography
- Current state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
